It’s get your gig on numero uno and I’m back baby to wreak havoc! Real, opinionated, and wax righteous with The F WORD. I’ve already started with the Get Your Gig On website launch soiree last month at the Record Archive where we introduced a website for musicians, by musicians, where they don’t worry about where to go to be seen or go to be seen every single night.
Last Thursday was hillbilly hi-jinx and some-lo jinx too with the rural jump and shout of Willy T. “Tea” Taylor and his guests The Turkey Buzzards. Sporting a beard long enough to step on, he drove ‘em wild with songs written in tribute to, and for, our lovely little city. The kids went plumb crazy.
It was honking ska of imminent heights later that week with The Scofflaws from Long Island and Rochester‘s Some Ska Band. It was swell, it was swinging, it was sick! It was Ska-tastic!!
